At Sony's Gamescom conference today they announced that they will be cutting the price of the 160gb model Ps3 to $249 which is $50 less than it was previously, The price cut is internationally aswell which means will be €249 in Europe and ¥24,980 in Japan
Also Sony are going to be releasing a value PSP console without wifi for a price of around €99, Personally I would not buy this as it needs wifi. Most devices have it nowadays and is essential . No date of release yet but should be out before the end of year, just in time for Christmas wink wink :)
